Part N (Glazing safety): From 6 April 2013 - Only relevant to Wales

This section covers the technical guidance contained in Part N (Approved Document N) of schedule 1 of the Building Regulations.It covers the requirements with respect to glazing safety.

In 2013, Part N of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended) and the current edition of AD N will be withdrawn, with the functional requirements and technical guidance in them subsumed into Part K and AD K respectively.

However AD N will continue to apply to building work carried out in Wales from 6 April 2013.
