Why get involved ?

The local development framework (LDF) for your area sets out the local planning authority's policies and proposals for building and land use including policies on town centre developments, new housing, the local economy, transport, the natural environment and community and education facilities. If you are interested in or concerned about how any of those issues might affect your area, your street or your own house, then the plan is relevant to you.

The only way the local planning authority will know what you want is if you tell them! And the more people who speak up, the more likely it is that the final plan will be a true reflection of local views.
