Who can take part in the Pilot

We are trialling these changes with a limited number of local planning authorities (LPAs) to help ensure that this significant change is managed properly.  If you are thinking about submitting a householder appeal* using the written representations method and the appeal site is within one of the following LPAs we would encourage you to take part in the Pilot scheme:

 Birmingham City Council

 Bridgnorth District Council

 Brighton & Hove City Council

 Bournemouth Borough Council

 Chichester District Council

 Chiltern District Council

 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

 Guildford Borough Council

 Hambleton District Council

 Kennet District Council

 Kirklees Metropolitan Council

 Leeds City Council

 London Borough of Brent

 London Borough of Ealing

 London Borough of Harrow

 London Borough of Hillingdon

 London Borough of Wandsworth

 Mid Devon District Council

 New Forest District Council

 North Lincolnshire Council

 North Somerset Council

 Purbeck District Council

 Richmond-upon-Thames London Borough Council

 Sheffield City Council

 St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council

* As noted above, this does not include appeals where the local planning authority has failed to decide your application within the agreed timescales (8 weeks).
