Other considerations before you start work
There are a number of issues in addition to those directly connected to the planning and building control regimes that you should consider before starting work.
These include:
- consultations, which may be statutory or good practice
- other permissions, which may be required for your project
- crime prevention issues that you need to be aware of when altering your home.
- health and safety requirements (HSE website) which may need to be considered before you start work.
