About the National Planning Application Register
The National Planning Application Register is a new service launched by the Planning Portal in partnership with Emap Glenigan, part of the largest information supplier to the UK construction industry.
This service lets users search for submitted planning applications (and in many cases decisions) made during the last 12 months across England and Wales, even where a local authority does not itself provide an online weekly list.
About the pilot phase
This pilot phase of the project will determine whether there is an ongoing interest in the service and from whom, what functionality is required for a fully specified service and what part such a service might play in the future of planning reform.
Emap Glenigan were chosen to partner with the Planning Portal after a competitive tender and provide all the data and search functionality behind the service.
