Best-practice toolkits and guidance notes

Overview

Practical and clearly defined set of guidance toolkits providing advice on service implementation around PARSOL products.

Each toolkit covers aspects such as business case, benefits, business options, technical options and advice on implementation issues.

Additional Guidance Notes complete the required service delivery advice (covering those areas where PARSOL does not necessarily offer any specific products).

What’s PARSOL doing?

This project stream was delivered in 2004. The toolkits are linked closely with the Service Delivery Standards - benchmarks to measure a local authority’s e-enabled planning services.

PARSOL toolkits and guidance notes define the benchmark service delivery standards for e-planning and also for the wider general usage of all products produced within the framework of the PARSOL programme.
