Circular 03/02 - Housing grants construction and regeneration Act 1996: Part 1

This Circular gives advice on the amendments to the test of resources for grants under Part I of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (the 1996 Act) which will come into force on 1 April 2002, and provides updated guidance on financial matters.

It supplements DOE and DETR Circulars 17/96, 04/97, 17/97, 04/98, 06/99, 03/2000 and 05/2001. While it can be retained as a separate document, most of it has been set out to allow for insertion of extracts into the body of Circular 17/96.
