Research
Each year, Communities and Local Government commissions a number of research projects to underpin the development and maintenance of the Building Regulations, the supporting guidance and the Building Control system. These are reported on the Communities and Local Government website.
Many of these research projects are related to a specific technical Part of the Regulations' requirements and can be accessed through the technical guidance section of this site.
Others are more cross cutting in nature and have included:
