MPG14 Environment Act 1995: Review of Mineral Planning Permissions (September 1995)

This MPG advises minerals planning authorities and the minerals industries on the statutory procedures to be followed in the preparation of updated planning conditions on minerals planning permissions.

These relate to the review of old permissions and the periodic review of all permissions, which are required by the Environment Act 1995. The advice covers initial reviews in 'first' and 'second' lists, ways of stopping an unacceptable minerals operation, special sites and periodic reviews. There are fourteen appendices covering many procedural forms etc.
