Monitoring regional planning guidance

This guide has been produced in order to assist Regional Planning Bodies (RPBs) and others involved in the Regional Planning Guidance (RPG) process to develop a robust framework for performance review and monitoring of RPG.

It takes forward an earlier draft guide prepared for the then DETR by ECOTEC consultants.

It sets out a step by step approach to developing appropriate monitoring frameworks and provides advice on formulating targets and indicators.
