Proposals for a good practice guide on sustainability appraisal

This document sets out guidelines for RPBs to use as they develop their sustainability appraisals.

In so doing, it draws on the practical experience of a wide range of practitioners who are working to make sense of a difficult, yet potentially very rewarding, task.

No such guidance can be definitive. What it aims to do is to develop the broad scope of a methodology which is logical and consistent, acknowledging that it will expand and improve as relevant practice develops over time.
