Search for planning applications

The National Planning Application Register has been developed in partnership with Emap Glenigan.

The pilot service allows you to search for information about every planning application for building works made in England and Wales (except advertising, tree works, retrospective applications etc). From July 2006 all of these applications are also tracked through to the decision stage.

The service is free of charge and can be used to:

• Search for planning applications in your area
• Read details about applications, including descriptions
• Print or download a list of applications for an area

Search for planning applications

The National Planning Application Register helps you to keep abreast of development that is planned, or taking place close to your home, or in an area you might be moving to.
 
Alternatively, you might wish to find out how developments similar to one you might be planning have been previously viewed by your authority.
