The Agent and Appellant sections

Agent section

The main part of the Agent section is taken up with contact details for the person handling the appeal.  If you work for a company, the name of the company should be added in BELOW the personal contact details

• Answer 'Yes' to 'Are you acting on behalf of a group or organisation?'
• If you or your company have already used our online service and we have accepted the appeal as valid, we will have details on our system that can be re-used - answer 'Yes' to our question about previous online use.  If not, answer 'No'.
• If you answer yes, you can enter the name of the company in the field and click on the 'Organisation finder'.  This will find details of the company and display them.
• If you answer 'No', you will need to enter the name of the company, and provide address details if different to the personal address entered earlier.

Appellant section

This works on the same principles as the Agent section.  

Contact details are not required if there is an Agent for the appeal, but the appellant's name is always needed - either in the 'Person' area, or in the 'Group or organisation' area underneath it.  Please note that there is a change in the pipeline to improve the way that Appellant organisations are recorded. 

Where the appellant is an Organisation and there is no Agent, we will need details of a Contact within the organisation.

Re-using Contact Details

Where the option is given to re-use details by using the search facility, any details we hold about you or your company will only be displayed if the previous appeal submitted was accepted as valid. 

If your appeal was not accepted your details will not be available for re-use.
