SI 2008 2093 - The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008

These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 19991 so that they apply to applications for subsequent approval of matters under conditions attached to planning permissions.

 

SI 2007 0783 - The Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007

These regulations outline the set of procedures relating to the displaying of advertisements in England, and replace the Town and Country Planning (control of Advertisements) Regulations 1992.

 

SI 2005 2115 - The Town and Country Planning (Major Infrastructure Project Inquiries Procedure) (England) Rules 2005

These rules outline the procedures to be followed for local inquiries into 1) applications for planning permission or 2) the approval of local planning authorities for major developments deemed to have national or regional importance.

 

SI 2005 0206 - Town and Country Planning (Temporary Stop Notice)(England) Regulations 2005

These regulations restrict the use of temporary stop notices (TSNs) in certain circumstances against caravans used as a main residence.

 

SI 2004 2208 - The Town and Country Planning (Regional Planning Guidance as Revision of Regional Spatial Strategy) Order 2004

This Order sets out the schedule and steps taken towards the revision of the
Regional planning guidance (RPG).

 

SI 2004 2207 - The Town and Country Planning (Regions)(National Parks)(England) Order 2004

This Order explains that, in relation to the regional spatial strategy (RSS),  the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are treated as falling within the Yorkshire and Humber Region and that the Peak District National Park is treated as falling within the East Midlands Region.

 

SI 2004 2206 - The Town and Country Planning (Initial Regional Spatial Strategy)(England) Regulations 2004

These Regulations list the regional planning guidance (RPG) for each region that is to become the regional spatial strategy (RSS) for that region.

 

SI 2004 2205 - The Town and Country Planning (Transitional Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2004

Part 2 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 changes the local development planning system in England. These Regulations cover transitional arrangements that will apply as the changes are brought into effect.

 

SI 2004 2204 - The Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004

Part 2 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (PCPA) establishes a new system of local development planning. It applies only to England. Local planning of the development and use of land is presently dealt with local plans, unitary development plans and structure plans. Part 2 provides that these plans will be replaced by local development documents.

 

SI 2004 2203 - The Town and Country Planning (Regional Planning) (England) Regulations 2004

Part 1 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (PCPA) establishes a new system of regional development planning. It applies only to England. Regional planning of the development and use of land is presently dealt with by administrative means. Part 1 PCPA and these Regulations place regional planning on a statutory footing.

 

SI 2002 2686 - The Town and Country Planning (Enforcement)(Inquiries Procedure)(England) Rules 2002

These Rules set out the procedures to be followed for local inquiries into:
(a) appeals against enforcement notices, (b) appeals against the refusal or non-determination of an application for a certificate of lawful use or development and (c) appeals against listed building enforcement notices and conservation area
enforcement notices.

 

SI 2002 2685 - The Town and Country Planning (Enforcement) (Determination by Inspectors) (Inquiries Procedure) (England) Rules 2002

These Rules set out the procedures to be followed for local inquiries held by inspectors appointed by the Secretary of State into:
(a) appeals against enforcement notices, (b) appeals against the refusal or non-determination of an application for a certificate of lawful use or development and (c) appeals against listed building enforcement notices and conservation area
enforcement notices.

 

SI 2002 2684 - The Town and Country Planning (Enforcement) (Hearings Procedure) (England) Rules 2002

These Rules regulate the procedures to be followed for hearings in England, caused by the Secretary of State, to be held before appeals against enforcement notices, listed building and conservation area consent enforcement notices.

 

SI 2002 2683 - The Town and Country Planning (Enforcement) (Written Representations Procedure) (England) Regulations 2002

These Regulations lay down the procedures and time limits for appeals against
enforcement notices in the form of written representations.

 

SI 2002 2682 - The Town and Country Planning (Enforcement Notices and Appeals) (England) Regulations 2002

These Regulations re-enact with amendments the Town and Country Planning (Enforcement Notices and Appeals) Regulations 1991, especially in relation to the contents of enforcement notices, the procedures to be followed in relation to appeals against them, as well as appeals against listed building and conservation areas enforcement notices.

 

SI 2000 1628 - The Town and Country Planning (Appeals) (Written Representations Procedure) (England) Regulations 2000

These Regulations lay down the procedures and time limits for appeals against
certain planning decisions in the form of written representations. They revoke and replace, with amendments, the Town and Country Planning (Appeals) (Written Representations Procedure) Regulations 1987.

 

SI 2000 1626 - The Town and Country Planning (Hearings Procedure) (England) Rules 2000

These Rules regulate the procedures to be followed for hearings in England, caused by the Secretary of State, to be held before appeals against granted planning permissions, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas.

These Rules regulate the procedures to be followed for local inquiries in England, made to the Secretary of State, before he determines applications for or appeals against planning permissions, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas.

 

SI 1999 1892 - The Town and Country Planning (Trees) Regulations 1999

These regulations outline the procedures to be followed for the granting of a tree preservation order.

 

SI 1999 0293 - The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999

These regulations outline the procedure for considering environmental impact when deterring planning permission applications.

 

SI 1997 1160 - The Hedgerows Regulations 1997

These Regulations make provision for the protection of important hedgerows in England and Wales.

 

SI 1996 1243 - The National Park Authorities (England) Order 1996

This order authorises and details the creation of National Park Authorities.

 

SI 1995 2863 - The Town and Country Planning (Minerals) Regulations 1995

These Regulations modify parts of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as they apply to the winning and working of minerals and involving the depositing of mineral waste.

 

SI 1995 1804 - The Units of Measurement Regulations 1995

These Regulations implement Council Directives that provide for the phasing out of the use of imperial units of measurement.

 

SI 1995 1139 - The Town and Country Planning (Crown Land Applications) Regulations 1995

These Regulations detail changes to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and to the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995, in their application to Crown land. The modifications relate to applications for planning permission and lawful development certificates.

 

SI 1995 0419 - Town and country planning, England and Wales, the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 - Department of the Environment

The main purpose of this Order is to grant planning permission for certain classes of development without any requirement for an application to be made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The main purpose of this Order is to grant planning permission for certain classes of development without any requirement for an application to be made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

 

SI 1995 0417 - The Town and Country Planning (Environmental Assessment and Permitted Development) Regulations 1995

These Regulations are concerned with the further implementation in England and Wales of Council Directive 85/337/EEC.

 

SI 1994 3264 - The Compulsory Purchase by Ministers (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994

These Rules detail the procedures to be followed in England and Wales in respect of public local inquiries concerned with compulsory purchase orders.

 

SI 1994 3263 - The Highways (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994

These Rules regulate the procedures to be followed in England and Wales in respect of public local inquiries which are held in connection with schemes and orders proposed to be made by the Secretary of State or made by local highway authorities.

 

SI 1994 2716 - The Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994

These Regulations make provision for implementing Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora.

 

SI 1994 2145 - The Compulsory Purchase of Land Regulations 1994

These Regulations re-enact (with amendments) the Compulsory Purchase of Land Regulations 1990, and detail forms for use in connection with the compulsory purchase of land.

 

SI 1992 2832 - The Town and Country Planning (Modification and Discharge of Planning Obligations) Regulations 1992

This Regulation gives further detail to the procedure for appeals against enforced planning obligations.

 

SI 1992 2414 - The Town and Country Planning (Simplified Planning Zones) Regulations 1992

These Regulations, which apply throughout England and Wales, are concerned with the procedure for local authorities to make and alter simplified planning zone schemes.

 

SI 1992 2039 - The Town and Country Planning Appeals (Determination by Inspectors) (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1992

These Rules regulate the procedures to be followed for local inquiries in England, made to the Secretary of State, before he determines applications for or appeals against planning permissions, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas.

 

SI 1992 2038 - The Town and Country Planning (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1992

These Rules regulate the procedure to be followed for local inquiries in England or Wales caused by the Secretary of State to be held before he determines applications or appeals made to him in relation to planning permission, consent under tree preservation orders, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas.

 

SI 1991 2794 - The Town and Country Planning (Development Plan) Regulations 1991

These regulations deal with the form and content of structure plans, local plans, minerals local plans, waste local plans and unitary development plans made under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

 

SI 1990 1519 - The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990

These Regulations detail the procedures for applications for listed building consent, for conservation area consent, for the variation or discharge of conditions attached to listed building consents or conservation area consents.

 

SI 1990 0512 - The Compulsory Purchase by Non-Ministerial Acquiring Authorities (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1990

These Rules detail the procedures to be followed in England and Wales for public local inquiries for compulsory purchase orders which have been made by non-ministerial acquiring authorities and submitted to the Secretary of State.

 

SI 1989 0193 - The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) Regulations 1989

These Regulations make provision for the payment of fees to local planning authorities for applications for planning permissions.

 

SI 1988 1812 - The Town and Country Planning (Applications) Regulations 1988

These Regulations detail requirements for applications for planning permission under the Town and Country Planning Act 1971.

 

SI 1987 0764 - The Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order

This Order revokes and replaces the Town and Country Planning Order 1972 as amended by the Town and Country Planning Order 1983.
