Planning Portal Director

Chris is Director of the Planning Portal and has been with the service since 2002.

He has a background in the commercial development of customer centric b2b and b2c web business. Immediately prior to joining the Portal Chris ran the Web Division at The Institute of Physics Publishing.

Chris is responsible for all aspects of the Portal's business, leading the 40-strong Portal team’s progress against the business plan. He has overseen the successful introduction of The Standard Planning Application Form and received numerous e-Government awards on behalf of the Portal team.
