Regional Events

We are holding a series of stakeholder events in each of the nine English Regions from mid to end July 2008. These events will provide a further opportunity, alongside responses to the Call for Solutions, to identify ideas and solutions to the issues raised in the document and to inform the Killian Pretty Review solution designing process. 

We are looking to invite a range of stakeholders, including: developers, local planning authorities, businesses, statutory consultees and amenity and conservation groups with experience of the planning application system in England.

These events are not about us imparting information, participants will bring their in-depth knowledge and experience and help the Review develop workable and practicable options for solving problems on the ground.

Our events are as follows:
London - 14 July
West Midlands - 16 July
East Midlands - 17 July
Yorkshire & Humber - 18 July
North East - 21 July
North West - 22 July
South East - 24 July
South West - 28 July
East of England - 30 July

Space at these events is limited and we can only accept one attendee per organisation/company. If you would like to attend, please email phelim.rowe@communities.gsi.gov.uk to register your interest stating which event you are interested in attending. You can register your interest no later than two weeks before each event.
