The pilot was successful and Government passed the necessary legislation allowing the introduction of the full service 'Householder Appeals Service' from 6 April 2009.
The full 'Householder Appeals Service' (HAS), is now in operation for those who made applications to the LPA on or after 6 April 2009. However, the pilot for 'fast tracking' continues and is still in operation for applications made to LPAs before 6 April.
