Government - Regional Development Agencies - This site provides links to help you access the individual websites of the Regional Development Agencies, where you can find more detailed information on the work going on in your region.

North West Regional Assembly - Directorate of Planning, Transport and Sustainability - The website provides general information on the processes and issues involved in producing Regional Planning Guidance and the Regional Transport, Waste and Sustainable Energy Strategies along with the detailed work of the Directorate in those fields. It provides access to documents, information on past and current research projects, news and key contacts, putting the work of the Directorate on public view and opening it up to active consultation. The site also provides a link to the Regional Sustainable Development Framework, 'Action for Sustainability' website and the main North West Regional Assembly site where more details on the wider work of the Assembly can be found.

Regional Co-ordination Unit - The Government Offices for the Regions (GOs), and their corporate centre, the Regional Co-ordination Unit (RCU), are playing an increasingly pivotal role at the heart of Government. Government Offices' responsibility for delivering policy in the regions, and their multi-Departmental constitution, makes them ideally placed to implement crosscutting initiatives.
