Completing Certificates

  1. This document explains how to complete the certificates section of the application forms.
  2. The certificates section confirms everybody who owns the property is aware of the development you are planning.
  3. The first screen is to determine which certificate you will need to fill out. You need to answer the questions and click the next button to proceed.
  4. When you have answered the questions you will be presented with either certificate A, B, C or D.  It will state which certificate you are on near the top of the forms panel.
  5. Each form will be slightly different but at the end of each form you will need to fill out a declaration form.
  6. The first drop down menu is to state whether you are the applicant or an agent. The applicant is the person who owns the property or in charge of the development. The agent will be someone acting on behalf of the applicant. Then you need to input your title, name and surname.
  7. Make sure you check the ‘declaration made’ box. This is important, it’s the equivalent to signing a form and if you don’t, it won’t be accepted.
  8. Finally you need to put the date. Dates need to be inputted numerically with forward slashes to separate the numbers, starting with two digits for the day, two digits for the month then four digits for the year.
  9. Once this is done, click the ‘next’ button and the declaration will be made and that section will be saved.
  10. If you need any more help then you can download the guidance notes found on the application overview page.
