Using the 'My applications' page

  1. Hello and welcome to our series of guides to the online application process.
  2. This video will show you how to manage your applications on the 'My applications' page.
  3. The 'My applications' page allows you to organise the applications you previously created and saved.
  4. To access it, you can scroll to the bottom of any page on the site and click the 'View your applications' link which is second in the 'Planning' list in our sitemap.
  5. The 'My applications' page is a list of all the applications you have created.
  6. You can order the list by the name that you gave the application, by the relevant local planning authority...
  7. (for example Bristol City Council), the version number, or the date when it was last updated.
  8. Your applications are divided into tabs by status. There are four statuses: Draft, Submitted, Transferred and Archived.
  9. 'Draft' means the application is yet to be completed and submitted.
  10. If you no longer require this application and do not wish to submit it, you can delete the application by clicking the red cross
  11. 'Submitted' means the application has been submitted to the local planning authority. Click on this tab to see all your submitted applications.
  12. 'Transferred' means the application has been successfully transferred to the local planning authority and is being checked by them.
  13. 'Archived' means you have chosen to archive the application.
  14. All applications that have been submitted or transferred can be archived by clicking on the icon in the 'Archive' column.
  15. We recommend archiving applications once they have been transferred by the local planning authority to ensure your application list is kept short and continues to load promptly.
  16. If you would like to archive multiple applications, please contact our support desk to ask them to do this for you.
  17. All applications that have been submitted, transferred or archived can also be downloaded by clicking on the icon in the 'Download' column.
  18. To save time if you are creating several similar applications, you can create copies of any existing one. To do this, click the icon in the 'Copy' column next to the application you wish to copy.
  19. You will then be asked to provide a name and to select which details you would like copied.
  20. You will then be asked for the location of the new application.
  21. To edit one of your draft applications just click on the name in the left column and it will take you to the 'Application overview' for that application.
  22. To edit a submitted application, click on the title of the application to go to the 'Application overview' and then 'Amend' in the Status box on the Application Details box.
  23. So that's it for this section. If you need any additional help look out for the blue help icons throughout the site. Alternatively you can download the guidance notes from the application overview page.
