PARSOL, the Planning and Regulatory Services Online National Project, was originally funded as part of the Government’s Local e-Gov initiative to help support local authorities implement e-planning and e-regulatory solutions.

PARSOL Regulatory Services:  In 2005, Wandsworth Council took ownership of PARSOL Regulatory Services. The Council has entered into a partnership with Cintra UK to ensure the continued support and development of PARSOL products in this area. Regalion (formerly PARSOL Online Licensing) provides an online application system for a wide range of licences and other applications.

PARSOL Planning:  Central Government funded PARSOL Planning to continue to support the e-Planning Programme in 2005/6 and 2007/8, through the development of a range of standards, advice and scripts.  Ownership of PARSOL Planning Products has now passed to the Planning Advisory Service and Planning Portal.
