Targets for non-planning consents and appeals

The Penfold Review of non-planning consents, which was set up to identify whether non-planning consents delay or discourage investment, published its final report  in July 2010.  The Review was chaired by Adrian Penfold, Head of Planning and Environment at British Land.

The Government published its initial response to the review in November 2010 and indicated that the Planning Inspectorate would publish internal casework targets online and extend our annual statistical report to cover non planning consent work. These targets are included in the tables below.
