Killian Pretty Review set to call for planning application shake-up

The Killian Pretty Review to be launched on Monday 24 November is expected to call for urgent reform of the planning application process to weed out unnecessary bureaucratic blockages so it is much less of a burden for hard-pressed businesses, councils and households.

It is understood that the review will make a series of recommendations that will weed out needless bureaucracy and cut down unnecessary complexity.

If implemented, the recommendations would help change the culture of the planning application process so it is less complex, more proportionate, responsive and customer focused.

The review documents will be available for download on the afternoon of Monday, 24 November, from the Killian Pretty review website.
